The Bible
We believe in the inspiration and authority of both the Old and New Testaments.[1]
The Godhead
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.[2]
The Father
We believe that the Father is fully God. He is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and all those who believe in Christ are adopted as His children.[3]
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the only Son of God.[4] He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.[5] He was empowered by the Holy Spirit: He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect and complete sacrifice for sin by dying on a cross.[6] He rose bodily from the dead and ascended to heaven, where He intercedes for us at God’s throne.[7] We look forward to Him returning to reveal His reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.[8]
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God. The Holy Spirit is responsible for the work of transformation,[9] and indwells every believer and empowers them for godly living and spiritual service.[10]
Humanity
We believe that men and women are made in the image of God; making us unique in all creation.[11] However, humanity’s sin alienated us from God and placed us under His judgement.[12] Apart from the gift of salvation found in Christ and accepted through faith, human beings are lost eternally.[13]
The Church
We believe that the church relates to the Triune God as the adopted children of the Father,[14] the body of Christ,[15] and the temple of the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ.[16] The Church exists to glorify God through worshipping Him,[17] praying to Him,[18] teaching His word,[19] serving and fellowshipping together,[20] and sharing the gospel with the world.[21]
